Life is full of challenges and surprises. There are times I give in to cynicism and say “This too will pass away but it will never get better. There will just be another disappointment.” Yet, time and time again, things do in fact get better over time. Adults demand proofs and evidence all the time before they believe something to be real or good. For children, the words and the assurance of a loved one is sufficient. I pray that I have the faith of children to believe in the words and assurances of God. He has called me by name and formed me in my mother’s womb. He already know the great spirit that I will become in eternity while I still struggle through the process of becoming. I pray for the grace and blessing to allow this process to unfold as it should and not hinder nor frustrate it.
“And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her by the Lord.” Luke 1:39-45
