Alone With God In Nature

No matter how busy the days became, Jesus always foundĀ  the time and place to pray.
His favorite time to pray is either deep into the night or early in the morning.
His favorite place is in some quiet, secluded place, preferably the mountains.
When he want to be alone and one with his Father,
he sought him in the stillness of the night and in solitude with nature.
God gave us the fullness of nature for us to encounter him there.

The earth was formed about 4.57 billion years ago.
Man came upon the scene only about 200,000 years ago.
It took all those years to prepare the earth and make it habitable and hospitable
for human life to survive and prosper.

We have done more in the last 200 years than all the people before us
to make the earth less habitable and less hospitable for human life.
We are slowly killing ourselves.
In terms of geological periods, we are doing that rather fast.

ManĀ does not own creation. Man is part of creation.
When we thrash our planet and ruin it; we thrash our lives and ruin ourselves.
Thus, I will live simply and have respect for everything that lives.
I will curve my propensity for consumption and use only what I need
so that others may also live.
I will share more as I realize that the earth is meant to be shared.
If priority in occupancy is sign of possession,
then other living things have greater rights to earth than humans
for they came way ahead of us humans here on earth.
If man was created in God’s image and likeness,
then the beauty and order we see in nature is also a reflection
of the beauty and awesomeness of the Creator.
